Maynard H. Hoeft

Maynard H. Hoeft, age 83, of Hastings, passed away at home March 7, 2022. He was born on March 2, 1939 in Red Wing, MN to Walter and Margaret Hoeft. Maynard retired from the Army National Guard and the State of Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Margaret Hoeft; brother, Marvin Hoeft; and sister, Joanne Hoeft. Maynard is survived by his children, Henry (Jean) Hoeft, Deborah Buckingham, and Matthew (Kanitha) Hoeft; grandchildren, Tara (Jake) Herrmann and David (Jenny) Hoeft; Karina Laqua (Kyle), and Nina Buckingham; and Tone (Pamela) Hoeft; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Meloy; sister, in law, Margie Hoeft; and many other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion St. in Hastings. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
