Mary Maxine "Max" Rutten

Mary Maxine “Max” Rutten, 87, of Burnsville, passed away Monday, February 2. She was born May 25, 1927 in Fargo, North Dakota to Elvin and Armela Setter. Maxine is survived by her children; Ron (Sally), Roger, Mary (Steve) Kusske, Keith (Laura), Paul, and Richard (Jill), grandchildren; Mike, Sean (Karissa), Brett (Kristi), Brooke (Chris), Andy, Dylan, Riley, Devin, Camellia, Anton, Ashton, and Adyson, brothers; Donald, Thomas, and James, and sisters; Betty, Delores, Jean Marie, Catherine, and Margaret. She was preceded in death by her husband; Darrell, and her brother; Gerald. Maxine loved her family with all her heart. She had her own sense of style, and her humor will be forever treasured. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 11 AM Monday, February 9 at Mary Mother of the Church, 3333 Cliff Road East, Burnsville, with a Gathering of Family and Friends 1 hour prior. Inurnment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
