McNamara, Mary L.
formerly of Minneapolis, born to Walter and Dorothy Gorke, passed away January 11, 2018 in Massachusetts, where she moved in 2015 to live with her daughter, Deborah. She is preceded in death by her beloved son, Steven. Mary will be dearly missed by her husband of 56 years, James; daughter, Deborah McNamara; cat, Calli; grand-cat, Chatty; sisters, Susanne Ruegemer and Judith Johnson and many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Funeral service, 2:30 PM, Thursday, Jan. 18, 2018 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S., Mpls., with visitation one half hour before. Mary will be laid to rest near her son, Steven at Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
