Mary Frances (Blazek) Rogers of Cottage Grove, MN, formerly of Brooklyn Park, died suddenly on February 14, 2014 at St. Joseph’s hospital. She was born on February 25th, 1947 in Breckinridge, MN. Mary worked a few different jobs throughout her life, but the one she enjoyed the most was John Deer. Later in life, she worked two full time jobs to take care of her daughters. She worked at the Brooklyn Park Police Dept. for 10 years as a Police Clerk, and as a caretaker at Villa Del Coronado apartment complex. Mary enjoyed life by traveling to any place that was warm, with a sandy beach. Her passion was taking care of her girls, playing the slot machines at the casino, and especially taking care of her flowers. She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard Blazek and Alice (Livingood) Blazek; sister, Jane and brother, Rick; and kitties, Muffie and Bronco. Mary is survived by her beloved daughters, Tiffany (Jon); and Tianna (Justin); siblings, Bernie; Jeni; Kris; Mike; and Tony; cherished niece, Stacey; nephews, James and Allan; other cherished family members; and her spoiled kitty, Trouble. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday (2/22) at 2:00 p.m. at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
