Mary E. Zumberge
Age 89 of Minneapolis, born May 20, 1922 in Collinwood Township, MN to Soren and Ellen Pedersen, passed away February 29, 2012. Mary served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was retired from the U of M, Mechanical Engineering. She was also very active at Bethel Ev. Lutheran Church for many years. Mary is preceded in death by siblings: Elmer, Myrtle, Signe, Norman, Bernice, Arline and Kenneth. She will be dearly missed by her daughters: Zynthia (Robert) Haller, Zuzette (Tim) Joslyn and Zheryl O’Connell (Steve Sborov); grandchildren: Cori (Jason) Thielges, Serena (Erik) Kamperschroer, Shana (Jacob) Mulholland, Danielle Haller and Amanda Joslyn; step-grandchildren, Chris & Andy Joslyn and Jameson Sborov; great-grandchildren, Owen & Tayte Thielges and Elias Kamperschroer; siblings: Lorraine Pedersen, Ruth Hardel, Shirley (Bob) Bowen, and Stanley Pedersen; special friend, Margaret Spangler; and many other family and friends. Visitation 5-7 PM, Monday, March 5 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S., Mpls. and also one hour before the service at church. Funeral service, 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at Bethel Ev. Luth. Ch., 4120 17th Ave. S., Mpls. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Bethel Transportation Fund.
