Mary Catherine Brady

Brady, Mary Catherine 78, of Minneapolis, born August 1938 to Raymond and Ethel Findorff, transitioned to heaven April 3rd with the same grace and strength with which she lived her life. Mary, a lifelong resident of Minneapolis, graduated from Central H.S. in 1956. She lived a happy and fulfilled life enjoying Broadway musicals, travelling, antiquing, helping with charity events, gardening, reading, and making beautiful memories with her loved ones. She was deeply loved by her family, friends, and the many children whose lives she impacted through her daycare business. Mary was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, “like-a-mom” and friend and will be dearly missed by her children: Mark, Randy, and DeAnn-Sarah and their families. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Francis Brady and her brother, Ray Jr. A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, May 6th, 2017, with visitation 1/2 hour before at Lakewood Memorial Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave., Mpls. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the nursing staff on the 7th and 8th floors of Fairview Southdale Hospital for their kindness and support in her final days.
