Mary Ann Radke

Mary Ann Radke age 78 of Hastings passed away surrounded by loved ones November 19, 2022.

Born February 7, 1944 to Ben and Leona (Majeski) Radke. Graduated from Hastings (1962) - Rasmussen School. Took many nursing classes. Worked at Regina Hospital and at the Minnesota State Hospital here in Hastings. She worked at Roseville area schools.

She imported on the strength of working hard and doing things with a passion. She enjoyed sewing, needlework, quilting, baking, cooking, gardening, and canning her beets which were popular amongst her friends and family. She took pride in caring for relatives and friends. She handed out goodies for the homeless.

"Don't be afraid, life is a journey. I left to start a new journey. I am at peace with the Lord."

Preceded in death by her parents, Ben & Leona Radke; sister, Rose Carlson; brother, Benjamin Radke Jr.

Survived by her loving son, Tom & wife Candi; grandchildren, Logan, Sarah, and Sydney; step-grandchildren, Mikaela Bostwick and Aiyana Bostwick brother, Jack Radke; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Mary Ann's Life will be held Saturday, December 3 at 11:00AM at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, Hastings with a visitation one hour prior. Interment at Lakeside Cemetery, Hastings.
