Mary Ann Karnick age 82 of Hastings passed away at the Prescott Nursing Home on April 22, 2008. Mary Ann was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and loved ceramics; quilting; and embroidery. She is preceded in death by husband, Joe Karnick; parents, Joe and Frances Marschall and brother, Joe Marschall. She is survived by children, Frances Karnick of WA; Mitzi (Bob) Brabec of Hastings; Ed Karnick of Hastings; Irma (Todd) Peine of Cannon Falls; Rollie (Kathy) Karnick of Hastings; grandchildren, Cheri; Scott; Kristen; Chris; Jami; Tricia; Sarah; Lisa; Teddy; Bruce; Jill; great grandchildren, Emma; Tyson; Jager; Leo; Brenner; Ana; Timmy; Joey; Jake; Addison; Ava; Aiken; Malerie; River; Gabby; McKenna; and Brent; sister, Irma (Bob) Bogden of Chicago; sister, Donna (Cliff) Larsen of Vermillion; brother, George (Marlene) Marschall of Roseville; sister, Monica (Jim) Passero of SC; sister, Fran (Al) Rawlings of FL; many nieces, nephews and friends. Mass of Christian Burial Friday (4/25) 12 noon at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. Visitation Thursday (4/24) 4:00 €“ 8:00 PM at WISE FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 400 Spring St., Hastings and 1 hour prior to service at church. Interment St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery.
