Age 91 of Minneapolis, born August 18, 1923 in Gilman, MN to Joseph & Pauline Melich, passed away August 7, 2015. She is preceded in death by her husband, Chet and was the last of 9 children. Mary will be dearly missed by her children: Madelyn Pruyn, Mary Lou (Mark) Anderson, Kathleen Johnson, Joan (Bob) Dorich and Bob (Kathy) Johnson; 11 grandchildren: Laura, Sean, Lisa, Adam, Nicole, Jordan, Brett, Linnea, Dan, Brian, and Jason; 2 great-grandsons, Collin and Josh and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service, 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 13, 2015 with visitation one hour before at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S., Mpls. Mary will be laid to rest with her husband Chet at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Assoc. or donors choice.
