Marvin M. Beise

Marvin M. Beise age 85, of Hastings, passed away peacefully at his home on May 17, 2012. He was born in Mankato on April 30, 1927 to Carl and Theresa (Kain) Beise. Marvin was preceded in death by son, Jon Joseph Beise; granddaughter, Christine Stubenvoll; his parents; sisters, Anna Cunningham; Dorothy Hruby; Julia Nelson; and Theresa Brenke; brothers, Ewald Beise; Carl Beise; and Melvin Beise. He is survived by his loving wife, Dolores; sons, Kim (Lucinda) Beise; and Perry Beise; daughters, Cynthia (Fred) Stubenvoll; and Cathleen (Wayne Jr.) Janitschke; grandchildren, Carl, Ben (Jenny), Dan (Jenna), Aaron (Lora) Stubenvoll; Kristin Handwerk; David (Trista), Jonathan, Charlie, Jack, and Hannah Beise; Christian, and Catrina Janitschke; great grandchildren, Isabell; Grace; Noah; Abigail; Elyah; Myka; Tamena; Allison; Joseph and Lindsay; sisters, Gretchen (Adoolph) Dahling; and Ella (Harry ) Wright.A Funeral Service will be held Monday (5/21) at 11:00 a.m., at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 202 W. 8th St., Hastings. His visitation will be held Sunday (5/20), from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings and 1 hour prior to the service at church on Mon. The Interment will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Hastings. His grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
