Marvel M. Johnson

Marvel M. Johnson, age 98 of Hastings passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at Regina Nursing Home. Marvel was born October 18, 1914 in Boxelder, MT to Earl and Lena (Nelson) Keene. She married Harlo Johnson in February of 1937. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Harlo; daughter Norma Jeanne Gaines; son-in-law David Gaines; and two sisters Maxine and Charlotte. Marvel is survived by her daughter and spouse, Marlene and Roland Lund; grandchildren and spouses Stephanie and Kurt Nelson, Stacy and Eric Westphal, Mark Lund, and Amy and Ken Martin; great-grandchildren Karlie Nelson, Teddy Nelson, Ellenore Westphal, David Westphal, Grant Martin and Alec Martin. The Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Lloyd Menke will be held 11 AM Tuesday, February 26 at Our Saviour�s Ev. Lutheran Church, 400 West Ninth St., Hastings, with visitation one hour prior to service at church. Interment will follow in Lakeside Cemetery, Hastings. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Our Saviour�s Ev. Lutheran Church
