Marlene "Sue" Boothe

Marlene “Sue” Boothe, age 69 of Hastings, died June 2, 2014 at her residence. Sue was born May 28, 1945 in Hastings to John and Frances (Knoll) Reinardy. She was married to Robert Boothe on June 27, 1980. Sue loved to go for walks, going to northern Minnesota, going to the Indy over Memorial weekend, and cheering on the Hastings High School football team. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Frances; brother, Robert Knoll; sister, Patricia Owen; brother-in-law, Vine Wells; brother-in-law, Donald Owen; nephew and godson, Jon Jacobson. Sue is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Denise (Mike) State and Thomas (Stacy) Boothe; grandchild, Chloe State; sisters, Rita Wells and Lucinda (Thomas) Remke; brothers, Raymond (Bonnie) Reinardy and LeRoy (Rita) Reinardy; sister-in-law, Rose Mary Knoll; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 13, 2014 at 4:00 at the Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring Street in Hastings. A visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service. In Lieu of flowers, memorial are preferred to the family.
