Marlene Mae Jones

Marlene Mae (DeWitt) Jones, age 81 of Hastings, MN formerly of Sioux City, IA, went home to be with her Saviour on July 24, 2013 surrounded by family. Marlene was born August 19, 1931 to Theodore and Alice (Ecker) DeWitt. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved her family and her church, and served them all faithfully during her lifetime. She was a wonderful homemaker, and she especially enjoyed cooking and sewing. Marlene was preceded in death by her loving husband of 48 years, Charles, and their son, Daniel Paul Jones. She is survived by children Mark (Sherry) Morstad, Gary (Charlene) Morstad, Peter Morstad, Bonnie (Glen) Saponari, Charles Jr. (Barbara) Jones, David Jones (Bill Scholl), and Kate (Ken) Seaton; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Marlene�s "extended" family includes Joni (JJ) Oberg and Pastor Brandon, wife Tonya family. Special thank you to Mary Kay Humbert and staff of Allina Home Community Services.
