Marlene E Jahn

Marlene E. Jahn, age 74 of Minneapolis, born April 26, 1935 in Ogilvie, MN to Lawrence and MaeBelle Fors, passed away Jan. 3, 2010 after a long battle with cancer. Marlene was proud to be a volunteer for the Eye Care Center at Fairview Southdale Hospital. She is preceded in death by sisters, Adeline Freeman and Valeria Coplan and brother, Manford Fors. Marlene is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (Chad) Knutson; son, Gregory Hoyt; grandchildren: Elle, Zachary and Taylor; brothers: Elwood (Cleo), Dennis (Marlene) and Rodney (Mary) Fors; nieces; nephews; family and friends. Visitation is 2-4 PM, Sunday, Jan. 10th at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. So., and also one half hour before the service Monday. Funeral service 2:00 PM, Monday, Jan. 11, 2010 at Lakewood Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave., Mpls. Memorials may be made to the Eye Care Center of Fairview Southdale Hospital.
