Age 67 of Apple Valley, went to heaven on August 21, 2021, at home with family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary Helen. Mark is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Colleen; beloved daughter, Melissa; devoted siblings, Dianne, Richard, Mary, Lorrie, Julie, David, Kim, and their families; along with many other family and friends. Mark’s passion for people showed up in every area of his life. He was selfless, generous, protective, full of integrity, humorous, loved life, and brought joy to every person who was blessed enough to know him. Known as the king of the campfire, camping, nature, and bicycling were his peaceful sanctuaries. His memorial service is at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley, with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Lebanon Cemetery of Apple Valley. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society (https://www.cancer.org/involved/donate.html) and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (https://givenow.lls.org/).
