Marion I Shoberg

Marion I. Shoberg,
Age 87 of Mpls. born Sep. 7, 1926 in Mpls. to Elsie and Hans Halvorson, passed away peacefully at home Dec. 8, 2013. She was a 1944 graduate of Roosevelt and was confirmed and married at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in South Minneapolis. Preceded in death by grandson, Sgt. Phillip Anderson and brother, Harry. Marion will be dearly missed by her husband, Robert “Bob” of 67 blessed and challenging years; daughters, Deborah Anderson(Ron Ruiz) and Darcy Geroy; grandchildren, Heidi (Scott) Thompson and Gary (Beth) Sandstrom; six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law and dearest friend, Beverly and countless nieces, nephews, family and friends. Heartfelt thanks to Allina Hospice for their loving and compassionate care. Memorial service 2:00 pm, Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013 with visitation one hour before at Hope Ev. Lutheran Church, 5728 Cedar Ave. S., Mpls. Memorials may be made to the church or donors choice.
