Marion G. Blixt

Blixt, Marion G. Age 79, of Mpls. Peacefully passed away on March 6, 2006. Survived by loving husband Robert P.; children Pam (David Schmidt), Janet, and Paul; brother, Brian (Carol) Hatfield and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in Sioux Falls, S.D., graduate of Roosevelt H.S. and U of MN. Her career as a bookmobile librarian began in Paw Paw, MI and finished with Hennepin County after taking time off to raise a family. Marion’s great passion for travel, outdoor activities, reading and adventure was an inspiration to many. She was a long time active member of the Kappa Phi Club and Dan Patch Camping Club. Lifelong member, librarian and historian for Minnehaha United Methodist Church where memorials are preferred. Memorial service 11:30 AM Fri, 3/17 at Minnehaha United Methodist 3701 E. 50th St. Mpls. Visitation 4:30 ??” 7:30 pm Thur, 3/16 at Henry W. Anderson, 3640 23rd Ave S, Mpls.
