Marion A. Dachel

Marion A. Dachel, age 93, of Hastings died July 1, 2015. Marion was born August 12, 1921 in Eau Claire, WI to Hubert and Florentine (Weber) Werner. She married Bernard Dachel on May 20, 1950 in Chippewa Falls, WI and was a long time employee with Smead Mfg. prior to her retirement in 1986. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bernard and brother Herb Werner. Marion is survived by her children Ben (Mary) Dachel, Peggy (Dave Laursen) Dachel, Tony (Linda) Dachel, John Dachel, Nancy Dachel, Alice (Rich Wrobleski) Dachel, and Rose Dachel, all of Hastings; eight grandchildren Shane, Chris, Jason, Jenna, Krista, Becky, Leah and David; two great grandchildren Sebastian and Arlo; brother Clayton Werner and sister Betty Williams; also many other relatives, friends and her family at Mississippi Terrace. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Noon on Monday, July 6, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 West Fifteenth St., Hastings, with Father Thomas McKenzie officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of Mass at church. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers are her eight grandchildren.
