Marilyn Pitra, age 79, of Hastings, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2015 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Baraboo, WI. Preceded in death by husband, Eugene; parents, Cadwalder and Helen Larson; son-in-law, Pat Kane. Survived by children, Joseph E. (Susan) Pitra; Beth (Ron) Armstrong; Rosemarie Defiel; Ruth Kane; grandchildren, Nicholi J. Pitra, Lucas J. Pitra, Alexa Rae M. Pitra, Casie (Kurt) Towsley, Annastacia (Brent) Davidson, Abby Armstrong, Sadie Armstrong, Tricia Defiel, Nyomi Defiel, Andrea Defiel, Christopher Kane and Emma (Chase) Rand; 14 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Monday (11/16) at 10:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 15th St. W., Hastings. Visitation will be held Sunday (11/15) from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings as well as one hour prior to mass at church. Interment, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery. Pallbearers are Nicholi Pitra; Lucas Pitra; Christopher Kane; Ron Armstrong; Kurt Towsley; Chris Siebert. Memorials preferred.
