Marilyn Dorothy Stapel

Marilyn Dorothy Stapel, 88, of Rosemount, was called home by the LORD Tuesday, August 20. She was born July 27, 1925 in Farmington, Wisconsin to Louis and Lillian (nee Jandt) Meyer. Marilyn is survived by her son Forrest William (Lola); daughters Deborah (Gary) Smith and Cynthia (Larry) MacKenzie, 4 grandsons, sister; Arlette Winter, and brother; Rev. Louis (Sharon) Meyer, Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest in January, 2013, brother; Merlin Meyer, and sisters; Helen Trojan and Doris Vogt. Marilyn was a loving wife and nurturing mother. She will be forever loved and treasured. Funeral Services are scheduled for 11 AM Saturday, August 24 at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 14980 Diamond Path, Rosemount, with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment will be in Lebanon Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the church.
