Marie L. Kaiser, age 95 of Hastings died April 18, 2013 at Regina Nursing Home. Marie was born in Hastings on March 1, 1918 and attended Hastings Schools. She married Xavier "Joe" Kaiser on January 2, 1936 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Hastings. She was preceded in death by her husband "Joe"; daughters Yvonne Garrelts and Jeanette Rowan. Marie is survived by her son Frank (Carolee) Kaiser; daughter Irene (Ernest) Hahn; also 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren; also many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. The Funeral Service, officiated by Fr. Martin Siebenalerwill be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 East Seventh Street, Hastings, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery, Hastings. Pallbearers are Mike Kaiser, Chuck Kaiser, Jon Kaiser, Joe Kaiser, Jake Schafer and Robert Kaiser.
