Melin, Marian D.
age 91 of Minneapolis, born December 29, 1921 in Morristown, MN, passed away April 16, 2013. Marian was a member and past president of Wold Chamberlain American Legion Auxiliary and Past District President, American Legion Auxiliary. She was the daughter of Claude and Dorthea Morrill. Preceded in death by husband, Harry; infant daughter; brother, Gene and sister, Marguerite. Marian will be missed by her son, Rick (Chun Cha “Jo”); granddaughter, Nancy Melin; sister, Alice Hanson and other family and friends. A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, April 22, 2013 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S., Mpls. with a visitation one hour before. Marian will be laid to rest with her husband at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
