Margie E. Flemming

Margie E. Flemming, age 66, of Hastings died September 17, 2011 at her residence. Margie was born October 22, 1944 in Minneota, MN to James and Bernice (Huffman) Flemming. She worked as a lab assistant at the Regina Medical Center. Margie was preceded in death by her parents; sister Marie Cowan and 3 infant siblings. She is survived by her sons Jeffrey and Steven Swedzinski; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; former husband, good friend and companion Dave Swedzinski; brothers Jim, John and Joe Flemming and sister Margaret Drietz. The Memorial Mass, officiated by Fr. James Perkl will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, September 22, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 West Fifteenth St., Hastings. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. The visitation will be 4-8 PM Wednesday at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E. 7th St., Hastings and 1 hour prior to the service.
