Age 98, born in Lake Benton, MN, and former resident of South Minneapolis. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Oct. 9, 2021. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 75 years, Robert; parents, Nettie and Christie Nielsen; sisters, Lovilla, Deloris, Cleo and Joanie; and brothers, Lester and Waldon. Survived by children, Joyce (Robert) Iverson and Robert (Sheila) Bergren; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and brother, Curtis (Janet) Nielsen. Margie enjoyed crafts, fishing and especially her family. She had a strong faith and was a long-time member of Minnehaha Methodist Church. Interment at 12:30pm on Wed., Oct. 13, 2021, Assembly lane #4, at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to a charity of your choice.
