Margaret Mary Mollick
March 29, 1933 – August 8, 2026
Margaret Mary Mollick of Hastings, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 8, at the age of 93.
Marg was born on March 29, 1933, to Frank and Marie Cahill (Denn) in Hastings, Minnesota. She attended St. Boniface Catholic School, then graduated from Hastings High School in 1951. She married Ralph Mollick on June 6, 1953, at St. Boniface Catholic Church.
Besides tending to her family, Marg was known as a very good seamstress. She loved sewing and met many people along the way. Over the years, she sewed many wedding, bridesmaids and prom dresses, altered all kinds of clothing, made many curtains and other miscellaneous items, and shortened many pairs of pants. She also had many close friends who got together quite often for many fun adventures. Later in life, she kept busy listening to audiobooks, following the Minnesota Twins on the radio and keeping up on current events. She really enjoyed visits from family and friends and a few special treats from the Dairy Queen.
Marg is survived by her children, Steve (Cindy) Mollick, Deb Soine and Mike Mollick, all of Hastings; grandchildren, Krista (Eric) Mace, Conan (Alexis) Soine, Missy (Paul) Jungbauer, Asa Soine, Serena Soine and Zack (Courtney) Mollick. Also surviving are her great-grandchildren, Destiny Soine, Will and Brooke Mace, Jaime and John Jungbauer, and Jace Soine; great-great-grandchildren, Nova and Aurora Soine; siblings, Babe (Don) Holzmer, John, Mike (Arlene) and Pat (Deb) Cahill; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Mollick; brother, Francis (Franny) Cahill; and sister-in-law, Rita Cahill.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings, MN 55033, with a visitation one hour prior to Mass. Interment will follow at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Cemetery in Hastings. A reception will be held back at the church following the burial.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton School in Hastings, Minnesota, in Marg’s memory.
