Margaret L. Bean

Margaret L. ?Mike,? Bean, age 70, passed away on Aug. 10, 2006, after a heroic battle with cancer. Preceded in death by her parents, an infant son and husband, Robert H. Bean. She is survived by her four sisters, and the children of a previous marriage with Stanley M. Anderson: Gerald, John, Judy Krogfoss, Mary Andersen, Shelly Wasylow and Steven; also 11 grand children and several great-grandchildren. She also leaves many good friends who regarded her as family. Mike was employed as a Comptroller for JC Penney??(TM)s for 28 years, until retiring in 1996. She was born in New Rockford, ND, moved to Seattle, WA at age 13 and later lived in Grand Forks, ND; Gary, IN and Albuquerque, NM. Her final years were spent in Apple Valley, MN. She loved life and was best known for her bubbly personality, her talents with crafts and sewing and her love of travel. Memorial services at Henry W. Anderson, 14850 Garrett Ave, Apple Valley, MN, Saturday Aug. 12, visitation at 2PM, service to follow at 3PM. Memorials to Breast Cancer Association or Ronald MacDonald House.
