Margaret Kordsmeyer

Margaret L. Kordsmeyer, age 66, died peacefully on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Regina Medical Centerin Hastings, MN after living with Alzheimer's Disease for several years.Born in 1946 in Sioux Falls, SD, Margaret was a public school teacher of German in Minnesota and Iowa. she also taught special education in Hastings, MN until her retirement in 2004.Preceding her in death were her parents, Henry and Johanna (Christianson) Kordsmeyer, cousins, aunts and uncles. Margaret is survived by several cousins, one aunt and one uncle.The Memorial Service for Margaret,officiated by Rev. John Mitchemwill be held 11:00AMMonday, June 18, 2012 at the United Methodist Church, 615 West Fifteenth Street, Hastings, with visitation held one hour prior to the service at church. A private interment will be held at a later date in the Olivia Cemetery, Olivia, Minnesota. Memorials are preferred to the Lewis House, 214 East Fourth Street, Hastings, MN 55033.
