Margaret Bernice Hegg

Margaret will be missed. She was loved by many. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and a true and loyal friend.

Margaret “Marge” Bernice Hegg, age 87, of Minneapolis, MN, passed away on August 26, 2025 at Mt. Olivet Nursing Home.

Margaret was born in Big Lake, MN to Arthur Anderson and Ella Anderson on May 5, 1938. She went to high school at Minneapolis South High and graduated with the class of 1956. Some of her hobbies were bowling, 50’s music, pull-tabs and traveling.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Ella Anderson; husband, Ralph Hegg; and daughter, Heidi Blazek (née Hegg); as well as several brothers and sisters.

Margaret is survived by her only son, Bruce Hegg; and multiple nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Grace Hospice, who were exceptionally kind throughout her illness.

A graveside service for Margaret will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery (Assembly Lane #4) in Minneapolis, MN on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 2:00 PM.
