Margaret H. Gjertsen

Gjertsen, Margaret H., 92 years. Born in Ashland, WI on Aug. 13, 1916, passed away Dec. 7, 2008 in the home she loved and has lived in since 1935.
Preceded in death by her beloved parents, George A. and Amanda R. (Wold) Gjertsen. Survived by her dear friends, Roger and June Norblom and Dr. John and Kathy Powers and their families. Margaret graduated from Mpls. Roosevelt HS and The University of MN. She was a woman executive before her time. She worked for NW Airlines, I.D.S., Dept. of Agriculture, Lutheran Brotherhood and MacPhail Colelge and School of Music. Her charming ways and smile will be missed by all who knew her. Funeral Service is 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 11, 2008 with visitation 1/2 hour before at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Avenue.
