Margaret E. Novak

Margaret Ellen Novak, age 93 of St.Paul and formerly of Hibbing and Las Vegas, went to be with the Lord Friday, November 2,2018, peacefully at her residence.She was born in Hibbing on November 1,1925 to Joseph and Nellie DeMillo. She attended Hibbing High School where she met her husband, George. They made their home in Hibbing and had 2 beautiful children until eventually they moved to Las Vegas shortly after her husband's retirement and lived there for 23 years. She returned to Minnesota to live out her final years by her youngest grandchild.She is survived by her brother, Louis (Marge) DeMillo of Hibbing, daughter, Rosemary (Tom) Roy of Las Vegas, grandchildren, Jamie (James) Altobell of Las Vegas, Jill (Todd) Lord of Queen Creek, AZ, Tom (Trudy) Roy of Lewisberry, PA, Michelle Johnson of Hibbing, Renae Wallace of Forest Lake, Joseph and Sandy Novak of Sacramento, CA and 8 great-grandchildren, Joseph, Peter, Jaylin, Jaydin, Hunter, Joshua, Andrew and SarahShe was proceeded in death by her husband of 58 years, George Novak Sr., her son George Novak Jr. and 2 sisters, Catherine Werman and Dorothy Ban.Her wishes were to be cremated and have her friends and family celebrate her life in her hometown of Hibbing, with a date and time pending.Arrangements are being completed by Caturia, Smidt Starkson Funeral Home Crematory of Hastings.
