Margaret A. Tomashek

Age 73 of Farmington, born February 25, 1950 in Eau Claire, WI to Willard & Myrtle Tomashek, passed away peacefully with family at her side, January 19, 2024.

Anyone acquainted with Margaret would know she was boldly herself in any situation. She never passed up a chance to make a new friend, ask a curious question, or sing a song.

Margaret joyously gave the gift of time to the people she loved. She loved caring for plants and flowers, was active in her church, and was a proud cheerleader at her grandsons’ basketball games.

She is preceded in death by her siblings: Nancy Jacobs, and Michael and Steve Tomashek.

Margaret will be dearly missed by her children, Brian Zielie and Sarah Zielie (Travis Nelson); grandsons, Kallen and Simon Nelson; siblings, Vera Jean Keogh and Dan Tomashek and many other family and friends.

Memorial service, 11:00 AM, Monday, January 29, 2024 with a visitation one hour before at Bethel’s Rock Church, 6300 212^th St. W. in Farmington.  Margaret will be buried in Eau Claire, WI at a later date next to her mom, dad and brothers.
