Madella "Del" M. Hubley

Madella "Del" Hubley, age 84 of Hastings, died March 28, 2013 at home. Del was born January 16, 1929 in Padua, MN to Albert and Emma (Radke) Baggenstoss and was baptized at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Sauk Centre in April of 1929. She married Theodore "Ted" Hubley on June 10, 1950 in Hastings and was a longtime employee of 3M, retiring in 1988. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ted; brothers Delmar, Kenneth and Jerry; and sisters Judy, Jane, Viola and an infant sister. Del is survived by her son David (Sheila) Hubley of Hastings; granddaughters Nan (Tad) Meyer and Melissa "Missy" (Robert) Josephs; great-grandchildren Jordan, Keirra and Garid; sisters Roselane (Dale) Hentges of Backus and Arlene (Dale) Benjamin of Hastings; also many nieces, nephews and cousins. The Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Jon Zimpelmann will be held 11 AM Wednesday, April 3 at St. Johns Ev. Lutheran Church, 202 West Eighth Street, Hastings, followed by interment in Lakeside Cemetery. The visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Tuesday at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 East Seventh St., Hastings and one hour prior to the service at church. The pallbearers are Steve Schultz, Tom Hentges, Tim Hentges, Tad Meyer, Jerry Baggenstoss and Pete Keetley.
