Lynn Mann

Lynn M. Mann, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at United Hospital. He was born on September 15, 1950 in Minneapolis, MN to his mother, Shirley Mann. Lynn grew up in Hastings and graduated from Hastings High School, class of 1968. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Saint Cloud State University. Lynn found a career in Carpentry working for the Carpenters Union of America for over 40 years. He worked his way up the career ladder at Kraus-Anderson from sweeping floors to finishing as superintendent. He married Patricia Savage on September 7, 1974 in Shoreview, MN.

Lynn loved helping people and fixing things that were broken. He was a fun, family man with unconditional love. Lynn was a philanthropist, giving time and energy to those who needed it. He was also quick with a joke or one liner.

Lynn is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Duwe; stepfather, Lloyd Duwe; sisters, Candace Hancock and Twil Grove; brother, George Hild; mother-in-law, Phyllis Savage; and many other cousins and relatives. He is survived by his wife, Pat; sons, Judd, Richard, Donnie (Erin); grandchildren, Lucas and Marco, Peyton, Stella and Rowan; brother-in-law, Bob Grove; and many other relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025 at 11:00AM at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel with visitation starting at 10:00AM. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights. Arrangements are with Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel.
