Luella L. Herrington

Luella L. Herrington, age 90, of Hastings, MN formerly of Portage, WI died May 12, 2010 at the Regina Assisted Living in Hastings. Luella Lorine Koch was born July 29, 1919 in Pana, IL to August and Katherine (Koontz) Koch. She was a graduate of Pardeeville High School and was employed at the Kroger Egg Plant in Portage, WI. Luella married Leonard G. Herrington on July 15, 1939 in Wyocena, WI. She later worked at the Super Valu Store in Hastings. Luella was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leonard, and daughter Sheila Mae. She is survived by her daughter Bonnie (Don) Denn of Hastings; granddaughters Sheila Condon of Rosemount and Holly (Steve) Schlicht of Hastings; great-grandchildren Ryan and Matthew Condon, and Kaitlyn Schlicht; also numerous nieces and nephews. A private family interment will be held at a later date in Wisconsin.
