Lucille Mickelson

Lucille “Ceil” Mickelson, 57, of Rosemount, passed away in her home Monday, July 5. She was born April 28, 1953 in Tracy, Minnesota to Harold and Marcella (nee Ramert) Ruppert. She married Gary Mickelson on June 12, 1976 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Currie, Minnesota. Lucille is survived by her husband Gary, daughters Kristin (Andrew) Davis and Sarah Mickelson, grandson Kashtin Davis, siblings Diane Ruppert, Gary (Jackie) Ruppert, Dan (Sherry) Ruppert, Mary (Chuck) Ullery, Carol (Pat) Ford, Kathy (Jesse) Logero, Louise (John) Shand, Jan (Steve) Mara, sister-in-law Steph Ruppert, and several nieces and nephews. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, Doug Ruppert. Lucille lived out her passion for animals as a Veterinary technician for the Cedar View Animal Hospital in Apple Valley for over 34 years. She also loved taking walks, crafts, gardening, and spending time with her 6 sisters. She especially loved her grandson Kash. Mass of the Resurrection is scheduled for 11 AM Friday, July 9 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 13900 Biscayne Avenue, Rosemount. Visitation is 4-7 PM Thursday, July 8 at the Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley and Friday 1 hour prior to Mass time at the church. Inurnment is in St. Joseph Cemetery.
