Lucille E. Kranz

Lucille E. Kranz, age 86 of Hastings, MN died June 24, 2012 at United Hospital in St. Paul. Lucille was born March 7, 1926 in Hastings to Hallett and Helen (Harkcom) Morey. She attended Hastings High School and had worked as a former cook at Nybo�s Restaurant and was a former employee with Smead Manufacturing for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father John Holzemer. Lucille is survived by her six children, Sharon (Jim) Buffo of Rosemount, Sandy (Bob) Bartelma of Welch, Mike (Maureen) Kranz of Hastings, Marty (Nancy) Kranz of Hastings, Tina Mann of Florida, and Ted (Barb) Kranz of Hastings; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brother Alt (Janet) Johnson of St. Louis Park; also many relatives and friends. The Memorial Mass, officiated by Father Cole Kracke will be held 10AM Thursday, 6/28/12 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 West Fifteenth St., Hastings, MN. Visitation will be held from 4-7PM Wednesday, 6/27/12at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 East Seventh St., Hastings, and also 1 hour prior to service at church. Memorials are preferred.
