Lucille Anna Fitzpatrick, age 88, of Hastings; died June 2, 2008 at her home in Regina Assisted Living.Lucille was born July 19, 1919 in Hastings to Phillip and Bertha (Stockfish) Hild. She married Louis Dayton �Louie� Fitzpatrick on August 6, 1937 and they residedin Prescott, WI where she enjoyed being a homemaker. For several years, Lucille had worked at Gretchen�s Gifts and enjoyed making customers feel welcome. After Louie�s retirement, they moved to their lake home on Little Trade Lake near Grantsburg, WI where she took pleasure in fishing and entertaining friends and relatives during their visits. She served as a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Grantsburg. Later Lucille and Louie relocated back to Hastings and became members of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. They were married 57 years. Most recently, Lucille has been a resident of Regina Assisted Living where she enjoyed visits from friends and relatives, managing time for playing cards and bingo, working jigsaw puzzles, and arranging occasional social gatherings. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Louis, siblings Walter Hild, Marie Tronnier, George �Shorty� Hild, Phillip Hild, and Robert Hild. Lucille is survived by her daughter Charlene (Glenn) Rother of Williamsburg, VA; grandchildren Stephanie (Scott) Moss of Charlotte, NC and Camille (Daniel) Bonham of Atlanta, GA; great-grandchildren Parker, Kendal, David, Matthew, James; and her sister Margaret Kane. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. Jim Cassidy and Fr. Abraham George will be held at 10am Monday, June 9, 2008 at ST. ELIZABETH ANN SETON CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings, with visitation 1 hour prior to service. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
