Lucille A. Dodge

Lucille A. Dodge, age 81, of Afton, died Thursday, September 18, 2008 at her home.Lucille was born May 9, 1927 in Crown, MN to John Eddie and Hattie (Meyer) Johnson. She married George R. Dodge on August 24, 1946 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in St. Paul. She had worked in production at 3-M in addition to her role as homemaker. Lucille enjoyed special times with her children and grandchildren, especially fishing trips, family dinners, in addition to her church involvement and volunteer work. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Harold Donald (twins) and Kenneth; husband George in April of 2007, and son-in-law Andy Anderson. Lucille is survived by her 4 children Darlene (Phil) Wenzel of Sumner, WA, Kathleen �Kathy� (Cole) Brooks of Lakeland, MN, George (Cindy) Dodge of Hastings, and Nancy Anderson of Kirkland, WA; 10 grandchildren Chris Wenzel (Suzi Little), Angela (Andy) Worhatch, Nicole (Paul) Pedro, Carrie Brooks, Ben Dodge, Lori (Brian Johnson) Dodge, Julie Dodge, Eric Anderson, Sam Anderson, and Allison Anderson; 6 great-grandchildren Alexander and Amanda Worhatch, Austin Cronquist, Brianne, Melanie, and Brian Johnson; 5 brothers Leonard (Jane) Johnson, Myron (Beatrice) Johnson, Bernard (Phyllis) Johnson, Edward (Carol) Johnson, and Harvey (Pauline) Johnson; alsosisters-in-law Bernice Johnson and Gerda Schele.The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Gregory Isaacson will be held on Monday,September 22nd at the Memorial Lutheran Church, 15730 So. Afton Blvd.in Afton. The interment will follow in theLakeside Cemetery, Hastings.The pallbearers are Eric Anderson, Sam Anderson, Ben Dodge, Gerry Johnson, Gary Johnson, and Randy Johnson.
