Lorraine Clara Lawrence, age 86, of Hastings, passed away at United Hospital in St. Paul on April 16, 2013. She was born on March 23, 1927 in Plain, WI to Albert and Clara Bayer. On February 15, 1950 Lorraine married Frederick “Fritz” Lawrence in Plain, WI. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frederick “Fritz”; sons, John “Jack” and Jerald Lawrence; and grandson, Mark Murphy. Lorraine is survived by her children, Judy; Jim; Jane (Jon) Koll; Joe (Mary); and Joyce (Don) Murphy; daughters in law, Mary Ann Lawrence and Lynda Clothier; grandchildren, Jim Lawrence; Dan (Jamie) Niebur; Dee Dee (Al) Jankovich; Peter (Karen) Lawrence; Jeff Lawrence; Kathy Lawrence (Curt LaBoda); Jenny, Jerry, and Jessy Lawrence; Michael and Kelly Lawrence; Mitchell, Matthew, and Mason Murphy; great grandchildren, Emily, Alex, and Jimmy Lawrence; Emmitt and Alden Lawrence; Jack and Justin LaBoda; Darren, Devon, Danny, and Donavon Niebur; and Nathan Lindgren, Alyson Niebur, and Brooke Jankovich; sister, Anita Bindl; brothers in law, Richard Lawrence and William (Fern) Lawrence; and many nieces and nephews.A Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Fr. Jim Perkl, will be held Friday (4/19) at 10:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. A visitation will be held on Thursday (4/18) from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings, and one hour prior to mass on Friday.
