Loretta K. Foss

Loretta K. Foss, age 102, of Hastings passed away March 4, 2021. She was born in Hastings to Charles and Laura (Knaresborro) Sommers on June 4, 1918. She married Edmund Foss in Hastings on October 7, 1942. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edmund; brothers, Marvin, Thomas and Gerald "Jay"; and sister, Marie McAlwee. Loretta is survived by her children, Judy Gifford, Jerry (Ann) Foss, James (Margaret) Foss, Laurie (J) Chivers; grandson, Jacob Foss; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St.Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St. in Hastings. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion St. in Hastings. Interment, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery in Hastings.
