Loren E. Quam

Loren Edward Quam, of Hastings, passed away at Regina Senior Living in Hastings on January 22, 2021. Loren was born in Marshalltown, Iowa to Obert and Clara Quam on October 31, 1928. He married Therese Zetah on September 18, 1954 at Church of the Incarnation in Minneapolis. He was preceded in death by his wife, Therese; his parents; and three brothers. He is survived by his children; Doug (Peggy); Mary Beth (Tom) Ries; Dave (Kathleen); Mike (Maureen); Paul (Sue) and Rob; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 27 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. A Visitation will be held that morning from 9:30 - 10:30 AM at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion St., Hastings. Interment in the church cemetery. Due to health concerns related to Covid-19, there will be no reception.
