Lois N. Bryan

Lois N. Bryan, age 72, of Hastings, died at her home on Sunday, February 15, 2009. Lois was born July 23, 1936 in Parkers Prairie to Clinton and Laura (Krueger) Thun. She married William M. Bryan on December 16, 1960 in Pittsburgh, PA and had worked as a clerk in the insurance industry. Lois was preceded in death by her parents and her step-mother Florence. She is survived by her husband William; son William Jr. (Heidi) Bryan of Hastings; granddaughters Haile, McKenzie, and Madison; siblings Kathryn (Harland) Jahnke of Parkers Prairie, Charles Thun of Kansas City, Richard Thun of Elizabeth, CO, and Rebecca Thun of Minneapolis. The funeral service, officiated by her nephew, Rev. Clark Jahnke will be held at 11am Monday, February 23, 2009 at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E. 7th St. in Hastings, with a visitation held 2 hours prior to the service. Interment will follow in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. The pallbearers are Rick Thun, Kevin Ferrie, Mike Sanderson, Mike McDaniel, Trevor Jahnke, Jeff Jahnke; honorary pallbearers are Dan Podsiadly, Walt Podsiadly, and Ronald Bryan.
