Lois J. Piekos

Piekos, Lois J. age 88, of South Mpls, passed away August 1, 2008. Survived by children, Lance, Larry (Marcy), Jerry, Nancy Brandt and Jeannie (Randy Anderson) Piekos; six grandchildren, Jessica, Nathan, Chelsea, Marie, Mark and Lucas; two great-grandchildren, Alex and Walker; two brothers, George (Esther) and Richard Knaack; sister, Gracia Zimmerman; nieces, nephews and friends. Lois worked as a nurse and antique dealer. She loved poetry, the arts, music and was an active member of her community. She will be remembered by her strength, perseverance and love. Memorial service Monday (TODAY), 3:30 PM, in Walker Health Care Center Chapel, 3737 Bryant Ave. S. with a gathering of family and friends 1/2 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Heart of the Beast Theatre.
