Logan Peder Ganfield-Thorpe

May 2, 2006 — May 22, 2020

Ganfield-Thorpe, Logan Peder

Logan passed away on May 22, 2020. He recently celebrated his 14th birthday on May 2 at his home in Lakeville, MN.

Survived by his mom, Sarah (Allen); dad, Dan (Katie); grandparents, Arnie (Carol) Thorpe and Bruce (Kathy) Ganfield; and many other relatives, friends, nurses, doctors, and therapists who all loved him dearly.

Logan was a fearless boy with curiosity and excitement for life. He loved going out on adventures including boat rides, watching semi trucks and loud cars drive by, riding his tricycle, watching motorsports and taking RZR rides with his dad.

He loved his dog Lucy (and Lucy loved her little boy), car rides, coloring (and being colored on) with markers, watching windshield wipers in the rain, snuggling up and reading books with his mom, loud music, and dance parties with his mom.

Logan couldn’t get enough of his favorite movies, such as Trolls, The Bee Movie, Cars, Mune, Surf’s Up, Curious George, Thomas the Train, and Sing.

An affectionate child who loved holding hands, waving to everyone, people watching, parades, and interacting with people.

His life was filled with joy doing all the activities he loved, and it wouldn’t have been possible without his dedicated homecare nurses, therapists, doctors, and his caring mom & dad. Logan loved them all, and those of us left behind are incredibly grateful for all the caregivers who allowed him to experience so much happiness.

Logan was a sweet boy with a zest for life, and his absence will be felt by all who knew him.

Private family Graveside Service will be held at Evergreen Point Cemetery in Lakeville.
