Lloyd "Leroy" Hanson

Lloyd"LeRoy" Hanson, age 76, of Hastings, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010.Lloyd was born January 4, 1934 in New Richmond, WI, to Lloyd H. and Lillian (Berquam) Hanson. He was united in marriage to Darleen (Holland) June 29, 1957 at Scheie Lutheran Chruch in Mabel, MN. Prior to his retirement Lloyd was an engineer at 3M.He was preceded in death by his parents and son Donnie. Lloyd is survived by his wife Darleen; children Laurie Hanson of Roseville, David Hanson of Eagan, and Jon (Jodi) Hanson of Minneapolis; brothers James "Jim" (Ardelle) Hanson of Boise, ID, Jerry (Brenda) Hanson, and Marlin (Susan) Hanson both of Kalispell, MT.The Funeral service, officiated by Rev. Doug Duin, will be 11:00AM Monday, May 24, 2010 at Our Saviour's Ev. Lutheran Church, 400 WestNinth Street, Hastings, with a visitation from 9:00AM until time of the service. Interment will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jim Hanson, Roger Tonsager, Jody Diggins, Shelly Gooley, Jeff Kallis, and Joni Kallis. Honorary pallbearers are Joel Berquam, Jerry Hansonand Our Saviour's Good News Men's Group.Memorials are preferred to Masonic Cancer Center or Our Saviour's Ev. Lutheran Church, Hastings.
