Lisa J. Cheeseman, age 43 of Richfield. Lost her battle to cancer on July 25 surrounded by family and friends. Much loved and survived by mother, Arlene; dad, Dick; brother, Rick; sister, Lori; sister-in -law, Cathy; brother-in-law, Greg; uncles, Jim and Fred; aunts, Bev, Elodie and Carol; cousins, Cheryl, Susan, Peggy, Steve, Kelly, Kathy, Kerry, David, Jeffrey and Randi Kaye. Proud aunt of nephews, Ethan, Kyle, Skylar; nieces, Hannah, Denise, Katy. Missed by many, including co-workers from the past 17 years at Investment Rarities, friends from the Nephew Quoyle Book Club. Attended Lincoln Senior High, and graduated from Jefferson, class of 1982. Received degree in English Lit. from U of M class of 1986. Her love of literature is evident in her collection of over 1, 000 books. An avid crossword fanatic, she loved to time herself completing puzzles, was a fierce Scrabble competitor, and loved to shout out Jeopardy answers. Her family thanks all the wonderful care givers Lisa encountered during her illness, especially Kathy, Liisa, Alexis, Patty and Rhonda from N.C. Little Hospice, and Calla, Shirley, Bruce, Kristi and Julie from Fairview Southdale Hospital Oncology Station, Patrick, Bridget and Jean from Fairview Hospice. Funeral service Wednesday, 11 am, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 – 23rd Ave S. Visitation Tuesday 5-7 pm and one hour before service. Burial Acacia Park. Memorials requested to N.C. Little Hospice, World Wildlife Organization and Twin Cities Public Television. Gone from sight, but forever in our hearts.
