Linda S. Hinton

Linda Sue (Hanson) Hinton, age 65, of Hastings, MN, went home to be with the Lord on December 20, 2014. Born in 1949, she graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1967. She was married to Glenn Hinton in 1970 and to their union were born three sons. She worked at 3M for over 40 years holding many positions in various departments before her retirement. Linda loved spending time with her family, playing endless hours of card games. She also had a passion for Israel and took 2 trips to Washington DC to join the Christians United for Israel summit. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alice and Russell Hanson; and her sister, Jane Dohrer. She is survived by her husband, Glenn; three sons, Matthew (Tanya), Chad (Marissa) & Adam (Erica); ten grandchildren, Christopher, Haylee, Hannah, Caleb, Joseph, Isaac, Madison, Victoria, Zeke and Creed; two brothers, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services will be held at The Harbor Church, 11125 West Point Douglas Road, Hastings, MN 55033 on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 10:00 am with visitation one hour prior to the services at church. Arrangements are being handled by Wise Funeral Home in Hastings, MN. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Salvation Army.
