Linda C. Parkin, age 64, of Hastings, passed away August 2, 2009 at the Augustana Care Center in Hastings. Linda was born March 18, 1945 to Alvin and Esther Tiedemann in Red Wing. She married Jerry Parkin in Rochester on April 11, 1970. Retired after 30 years with Qwest. Linda in preceded in death by her parents. Survived by husband, Jerry of Hastings; children, Scott (Rachel) Parkin of Stillwater; and Jeri Parkin (Russ Fleming) of Northville, MI; granddaughters, Maya and Sophia; sisters, Judy Hodge and Bonnie (Mark) Helder both of Rochester.A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, August 5 at 10:30am, at Our Saviour's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 400 W. 9th St., Hastings. Visitation will be Tues. from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St. Hastings and 1 hour prior to the service at church. Interment Lakeside Cemetery.
