Linda K. Stoffel

Linda K. Stoffel, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother and sister died on August 29, 2012 at White Pine Senior Living in Inver Grove Heights while surrounded by her family. She was born February 5, 1947 in Cut Bank, Montana, the daughter of Ida and Al Eissel. She moved to Minnesota, and graduated from Hastings High School in 1965. Linda married Roger G. Stoffel on April 29, 1967 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Hastings. She loved being with her family, spoiling her grandkids, traveling, music, and playing cards and games. Her kids were fortunate enough to have her as a full time and devoted mother. In her �spare� time, Linda volunteered at her church, school and hospital, sharing her loving spirit and bright smile. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Roger and her parents Al and Ida Eissel. Linda is survived by her children and grandchildren, Michelle Scott McQuillen (Rhys); John Gretchen Stoffel (Marissa, Jack, Joseph); Kathleen Jake Loesch (Will, Calvin); William Stacey Stoffel (Andrew, Benjamin, Matthew); Debra Jason Anderson (Grace, Sophia) ; Susan Tim Mayer (Quinn); Mary Tammaro (Noah); Charles Hilary Stoffel (Eleanor, Madeleine); sisters Estelle Birza of Colorado, Sharon Wollan and Carol Sanford, both of Montana. Visitation is Monday, September 3, 2012 from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 Seventh Street East, Hastings and also on Tuesday 1 hour before the funeral at church. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. Stan Mader will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Vermillion, MN. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers are Jerry Stoffel, Glenn Stoffel, Gene Stoffel, Mike Dobias, Tom Majeski and George Gehrke. Honorary pallbearers are Deanne Grider, Chris Tix, Gordy Stoffel, Ann Stoffel, Diane Gehrke, Rose Tix and Rose Rother.
