Lillian “Lil” Gilbertson

98, of Mpls, passed away Monday, March 12. “Grandma Bubbles” grabbed her coat and got her hat and left her worries on the doorstep and directed her feet to the sunny side of the street. Preceded in death by husband, Ralph; parents, Wallace and Laura and brother, Bill. Lil was proud to have been born in her grandmother’s farmhouse in Hamilton, ND, the g, g, g, granddaughter of “Pigs Eye” Perront, founder of St. Paul. Survived by sister, Doris Denson; daughters, Laura Roust and Vicki Green; grandchildren, Jeff (Debbie) and Jay (Shelly) Roust, Natalie and Lance (Sparkle) Green; great grandchildren, Haleigh (Andy) Thompson, Paige, Cecilia, Jilian, Brooke, Laurel, Lacey and Mia Roust, Anthony, Bobby and Olivia Murphy. If able, wear pink and green. Memorial service will be held 10 am Saturday, March 17 at the Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 36th and Hennepin. Visitation begins at 9:15 am prior to service.
